The primary goal in providing these strategies is to foster independence and a healthy attitude toward learning.   Students who effectively learn to use strategies are better able to actively and successfully monitor their own learning.

How many tutoring sessions will my child need?

posted Nov 17, 2009 9:27 AM by Marty Fino   [ updated Dec 14, 2010 1:53 PM by Sue Fino ]

The optimal number of tutoring sessions will vary depending on a host of factors such as the student's presenting problem, learning disabilities and motivation.  Learning Styles students are first assessed and then a learning plan is discussed with the parents.  From that discussion a learning plan is implemented.
